Mississauga is now the fourth city in Canada to launch the UberEATS. The smartphone app is now available for use. The app connects restaurants with consumers, allowing residents to order from more than 75 of the city’s restaurant and have the food delivered to their doors in as fast as 10 minutes.

UberEATS is a food delivery service similar to pizza delivery. The city of Mississauga does not regulate delivery services, therefore UbderEATS is not required to be licensed by the city.

In order to access the service, smartphone users must download the UberEATS app which lists a broad selection of restaurants and food. Provide your delivery address and then choose from the available menu options. Once order is placed, users can track the status of their meals preparation and delivery.

UberEATS charges a flat delivery fee of $4.99. For instant delivery, the fee is $2.99. Instant delivery allows users to select from a curated menu of four or five daily specials that can be delivered in 10 minutes.

Uber is waving the fee in Mississauga for a limited time. The service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Instant delivery is only available in Toronto on weekdays from 11am to 2pm.

The service is also available in Toronto, Edmonton and Ottawa.
